How does this gas tank vent/regulate pressure?

Hi gentlemen, I was walking through my grandfather's garage today and saw a 6 gallon gas tank that I'd like to use to replace my 3 gallon tank.

By looking at it, I'm not sure how it would vent. Would appreciate a short explanation. Cheers.

See the 2 wee pins.-----Well they are valves.----When you push the hose onto the tank you push in those 2 pins.----One is a valve that lets fuel out.---One lets air in or out.----BTE or Best tanks ever.-----Putting 3 of them into my project boat.---Likely a good idea to replace the o-rings on those valves, total of 3 o-rings.
