My 1976 Chrysler 35 hp has the battery type ignition that uses two, 12 volt, externally mounted coils. One has cracks
in the casing. It still produces a spark but runs very hot. Probably won't last much longer. These coils are very expensive
to replace. Has anyone else had this problem and used a small, 12 volt automotive coil to solve it ? Thanks
