1984 mercury 50 hp carb gasket/diaphragm placement

Hi all

i know fast Jeff answered on another thread but wanna make sure since I over think


carb rebuild, the 3 similar gaskets/diaphragms.....hard gasket against carb body, then the gold “spring, then rubbery diaphragm against the fuel body plate?

im also assuming gasket from carb to motor just align with holes

Fast Jeff helped me with this one. I have a 1977 500 and have gone twice since I put my carbs back together with Jeffs sequence recomendations. She runs great. Got me up to 31 MPH Wednesday on the Tennessee River while I outran a rain front....for a while. The front was doing better than 31!
