Hi everyone I'm not new to boating it's just been 30 yrs
I had some trouble 2nd time out but 1st time we just putted in the river.
2007 mercury 60 hp efi big foot 4 stroke.
2nd time just 3 people i thought i would open her up and see RPM and MPH ( prop is 14" x 11) boat came right up and was at 6000 rpm Not at WOT
took it to 6400 and heard a beep and the rev's came down but did not stall. I probably hit the rev limiter? Throttled back and was fine ?
Tested a few time and different RPMS same thing. was ok at or under 3k.
I'm sorry for asking 4 more question.
Also motor is not charging.
