I recently repaired this motor by adding new parts
Stator/ Trigger / cdi module
I had spark to all 4 cylinders but no start so I removed the flywheel and the key was sheared so used valve grinding lubes and torqued it to 85 ft lbs.
The motor started with a little starter fluid it ran three times using muffs in the driveway.
I removed the gas tank and battery and pressure washed the bottom in that area reconnected both went to the lake with high Hope's.
Unfortunately no start , I now have no spark to any cylinders.
