Yamaha f150txrd oil leak after lower unit repair

i just got done changing all the seals in the lower unit of my f150txrd and after reinstalling it i didnt check to make sure it would shift. Well i started it on the trailer at the ramp and it wouldn't shift and i noticed some oil leaking. Took it home droped the unit again and sure enough i didn't get the shift rod in the right spot. Get that squared away but now when i start it oil is coming from inside the housing under the motor. Its running all down through the housing and coming out from every hole by the lower unit. How bad did i screw up? Anybody have any idea what i damaged?
