1990 evinrude 120 link and sync

What kind of timing should i be looking for at idle of 700 rpm + or -
Or
Should I not be concerned with idle timing as the manual does not actually list a degree setting for idle . Just do link and sink and it should be OK ??
Manual only gives WOT timing , which is 18 degrees in chart in manual. Did WOT in shop with Joe Reeves method
 
Clymer manual references a idle timing of approx 8 degrees ATDC for 1988 120's in link and sync directions for that motor , but not for the 1990 models. It specifically specifies 1988 models, but maybe the same for 1990's ???
