How can you tell if a motor has the quick start feature that advances the timing to help start a cold engine ???
How does it work / activate advance ??
 
Yes your 90-120 has quickstart.
Each time the motor is cranked the power pack electronically advances timing till the motor reaches temp or aspecifided time.
Thats a short version.

Do you know how to disable it and still get spark without advancing the quickstart feature as I am going to do the WOT advance timing the Joe Reeves method in the shop and he says that you MUST , first disable the quickstart advance feature
 
Short the wht/blk to engine ground, this will disable QS. This makes pack stop sending voltage to timerbase which is what is advancing timing in QS
