I had a rebuilt outdrive installed and ever since then my tilt gauge doesn’t work. I got a new sensor and it made things work but I couldn’t get the old one out without destroying it. When I tried to lift it out it only came up a half inch or so before hitting the transom. I’d hate to remove the whole outdrive just to replace the sensor. Can I carefully grind away above the sensor until there is room for the new one? Any other tips?
