Honda BF90A, engine oil leak issue

Hi. I have an oil leak which I have traced as high up as the shift lever seal area ( see photos). Does anyone know where oil would be coming from to be in this location please? The engine has 415hrs on it.

Is there oil coming from the vent tube at the front of the engine at the bottom of the block ? I have mine apart right now for a possible main seal leak or a oil plug. Pull your starter and take a look to see if it is full of oil under the flywheel.
 
Hi and thanks. Yes there has been some oil coming out of the vent tube. I have just replaced the seals at the top of the gear selector shaft which looks promising as no oil leak now.

Any update whether it’s the main seal or oil plug?
