became quite clear today that I ordered the wrong carb rebuild kit...looks like my ‘76 15hp has a later year carb installed. The number stamped on the side of the body is 431824, not a part number I could find listed here.
looking at the different kits available here, I see #[h=1]0439073[/h]Looks to be the right kit, but in the pictures it shows three Different cover gaskets? And two manifold gaskets?
man, I’m confused.
some background...this motor has not run in ~10 years, I inherited it from my dad-who purchased it used around 2005. It ran fine back then, so I know that the carb works in this motor.
if any of the experts here could offer some guidance on what kit to buy, I’d most graciously accept your advice!
