I'm rebuilding a 1990 merc 200 EFI. Will a 225hp EFI exhaust tube, of the same yr, gain me any hp?

First why are you rebuilding ? Second is your 200HP a 3L motor?

#6 cylinder ate a ring. It's a 2.5 liter, 200 HP EFI

The exhaust can wont fit and it wouldnt add any HP..Better find out why it ate the ring as could have injector or ECU problem....
