2006 Johnson 115 rough/no idle after changing plugs and correctly setting the gap?

Changed the plugs on my 115HP Johnson this morning, gapped them at .03 as manual instructs - and now it won't hold idle (old plugs have a gap of around .055). I can throttle up (in neutral) and hold RPM at multiple revs, fuel bulb is solid even when it dies. new vapor barrier assembly prior to plug change.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Kinda stumped and I'm not particularly skilled at this, so...

(motor was running OK prior to plug change as well, but was starting to die at low/idle RPM, at inopportune moments...)
