Hi All. I have a 28ft powered cat with 2 x DF250 (2007) engines that were bought new. I have recently been using the boat in shallow waterways with the engines tilted up quite far. I have experienced a new issue where the port engine (SN: 25001Z-780515) tilts down automatically when powered above ~3000RPM. This caused me to break a skeg off last week. Is this a normal setting (I have never noticed it before) and any idea how I can correct it? Possibly an important note: Some time ago the tilt switch on the side of the particular engine stopped working so I disconnected the wiring and isolated it, so at this time I only use the switch at the steering control panel to tilt the engine.
