I am plagued by an intermittent low oil alarm because my remote tank is not pushing oil up to the engine tank reliably.
What is the normal remote oil tank pressure I should expect on a 2004 , 200 HP, 2.5L carb'd engine?
I measure about 2.5 lbs that drops to 2 lbs at higher RPM.
I have replaced the crankcase check valve and replaced gaskets under caps and o=rings in caps. See no leaks so far.
Maybe I am not getting enough crank caser pressure?>
Compression check shows good on all 6 cylinders.
