The swivel bracket which attaches to the motor steering arm has some side to side play which causes some slack in the steering. Can the bracket be replaced and if so how do you remove it?
 
The slack isn’t in the steering arm on the motor. It’s in the swivel bracket on the Sea Star cylinder that the bolt goes thru into the steering or tiller arm on the engine.
