25 HP tiller steer. Engine starts easily when cold, runs at idle and top speed. Warm engine starts with great difficulty. Have to choke it. When it starts i have To open the throttle quickly or it dies. Again runs fine at speed. So why is a warm engine so difficult to start. Must be ignition or fuel, right?

Right. Start with ignition. Do a spark jump test when warm. Pull both plugs and look to get a nice crackle white/blue spark to jump 7/16 or 1/2". I'm working on a 25 right now in fact....going to test spark. Often times the switch box will loose snap when hot. Have seen same with trigger and even stator. Had a Belgian made 4 horse that did the opposite, however....only had adequate spark in hot sun.....once cooled down, nothing. Nasty diagnosis. Made me a fool.
