Raw water no pickup

Need help! Its not picking up raw water(impeller all serviced) put water pressure backwards from impeller diagnosed a water leak from outdrive pivot point. Questions is how big/hard of a job is it? Did maybe someone figured a alternative solution? Thanks

The water neck fitting will have a special beaded gasket underneath it.
The “bead” seals against the top of the pivot tube.
If the upper pivot tube bushing is shot, the bead will no longer seal.
If that’s the case, it’s likely the cause of your suction breach.

I have posted the “how to“ many times.
Try doing a search on this forum.

If you cannot find it, I will try to walk you through the procedure.
