Larger pulley diameter on replacement impeller pump

Hello,

I just changed the water pump on my 98 wellcraft volvo penta 7.4 GL boat since the impeller and housing was shot. When I got the new pump everything was the same except for the pulley diameter was a little larger. About 1.5in larger. Does anybody foresee an issue with this? I know this was an aftermarket part and its not OEM but we are heading to the lake next week and I feel like it should be fine. The impeller will spin a little slower I would imagine with the pulley diameter increase, I'll keep an eye on my temperature gauge but wanted to see if any one else has ran into a similar issue with this?

I’m wondering if the impeller is deeper on this new pump, which may explain why they increased the pulley diameter to lessen the pump’s speed .

I hate belt driven seawater pumps!!!!

Do you have enough space in front of the harmonic balancer/pulley to install a Johnson F6B-9 pump?
The F6B-9 would solve several issues that pertain to the belt driven pumps.
