Exhaust or engine gets louder

I notice my boat exhaust/engine gets louder on return trips. The speed also went down from 40 mph to 32-33 mph when RPM was about 4500.

Can someone help?

Boat: 2007 Charparral 180 SSI
Engine: Volvo Penta 3.0 GLP-E
 
Exhaust getting louder can be several things...
Reduced water flow thru the system,,,, water flow tends to muffle exhaust
Blown/leaking gasket between the exhaust manifold and the block...

Running engine long term above 80% of wide open throttle RPM reduces engine life.
