Early 2000s Yamaha four-stroke trim issue

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I had an issue w my trim motor not moving the engine up or down on my last trip. I noticed that a hose was disconnected. If you try to raise it, you can hear the motor trying to work like normal but no result. My guess is that there is no fluid in the reservoir. Just trying to see if that is indeed a hose connected to the reservoir or something else entirely, would be nice if it was as easy as filling the reservoir. I believe it is an early 2000s Yamaha 115hp four-stroke. Any insight would be appreciated.

That hose is for obtaining water pressure to drive a speedometer. Nothing to do with the trim/tilt system.

The fluid reservoir is integral with the trim/tilt unit. Raise the motor to the full up position. Add fluid if needed. Run it down and back up. Add more fluid if needed. Repeat until no more fluid can be added.

Ok thank you for the help.
