Jw14 won't run with air intake tube attached

After putting thread on one fuel needle I tested it without the air intake tube on and it ran great. There was exhaust coming out of the rear intake screws so the tube was put back on. It starts runs a few seconds and quits.
Maybe the tube is plugged up?

What do you reckon it is plugged up with? Mud dauber nest? Dead mouse? Personally, I've never seen one plugged up.
