New to the forum and I've searched but have not found an answer to my specific question. Please forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere.
I have twin CS250s circa 1965 with the original Sherwood E35 raw water pumps. The port pump needs a major rebuild kit, and the stbd needs a minor rebuild kit plus a shaft. All in, I'm looking at almost as much in rebuild parts as it would cost to switch to the Johnson FB6-9s. I was ready to pull the trigger, but found compatibility notes that specificy:
Applications: Chevy V8 engines 305/350/454 CID 5.0 / 5.7 / 7.4L / Ford 302/351 CID 5.0 / 5.8L engines

- Must be used with stamped steel crankshaft pulley
- Will not work properly with cast pulley
