1999 100HP Yamaha with Ford motor

Ok for you Yamaha motorheads out there. I just acquired a new to me 16.5 Blue Wave Super T boat with a Yamaha 100 HP 4 stroke mounted on it. Model is a 1999 number is F100TLRX. It has a Ford engine in it because Ford is marked all over it. Motor was completely rebuilt by previous owner and even the connecting rod bearings he changed out on it had Ford marked on them. I am curious if anyone can tell me what Ford motor this is and what car it was used in? Size in liters? Looks like it is maybe a motor Ford used in one of their cars that was modified for an outboard application for Yamaha.
