2017 25 hp won't start with key

I can't figure this out. I can pull start my motor and turn it off with the key but when I try to start with the key it does nothing. No click or anything.all electrical works including the tilt trim. Battery has been checked. Anyone have an idea
 
What make and model? Year is irrelevant. Could be bad wiring to the start side of the key, bad solenoid, bad starter motor...
 
OK, so MFS25 B or C. Could be bad ground, bad wiring to the control box, bad key switch, bad solenoid, or bad starter. What happens if you jump the solenoid?
 
Hi Paul,

I'm experiencing the same issue. 2015 Tohatsu 25HP MFS25C 4cycle fuel injected Tiller, I've already tested the starter and it works when I jump the solenoid. I have already replaced the key switch and I by passed the kill and neutral safety switch but the starter would still not do anything when turning the key.

Any help you can provide is appreciated,

Did you test the solenoid? Why did you change the key switch? Did it test bad, or did you just guess and start replacing easy-to-change parts?
