Just had a new impeller put in Yamaha 2004 200 HPDI . When at idle and not in gear I get a strange hum hum hum background noise, no grinding at all, smooth alternating hum. See video. Just a funny annoying noise thats never been there before. Mechanic says it could just be a stiff new impeller rubbing on housing and will take time to wear in. Ran 60 Plus miles and noise is still there.
Saw some posts from others with same issue but never posted what they found out. Any help appreciated. Thanks
