What does this T fitting go to ?

I found a T fitting in front of my BF115 that is missing the tube in the center. I do see a nipple behind and to the right that is missing a tube as well so do I need to connect these two ? Or do I need to block them both off? I have no idea what these go to.
I cant seem to attach the JPGs to show you. The attachment manager isnt working.
 
Could these "T's" look more like a "Y"? If so, they are vacuum breakers. They're there in case a siphon gets set up, they will break the siphon.

Instead of a jpeg, send a link to the right page in a parts break down (like on iboats.com for instance), and give us the reference number shown on the diagram.
