Hey all.
Everything has been going well since the engine pull and PDS bearings replacement. I thank you all for the wealth of info.
I've noticed what sounds like a box of nails turned end over end or a chain rattle from idle to about 2500 rpm. At approximately 2500 rpm, the sound IMMEDIATELY stops and the engine is perfectly smooth from 2500 rpm to 5k.
Oil has been 15w40 rotella t4, changed every season. Oil is clean, no water intrusion.
Oil press perfect 40-45 psi
Impeller is good, inspected yesterday.
Belts are in good shape.
I'll try to make a recording later today.
