1998 Nissan NSF5A Long Shaft

Replaced impeller on long shaft (25"). Upon reattaching lower unit unable to shift from neutral to fwd or reverse. When removing lower unit had move shift lever in reverse to access bolt. Tried to re-adjust position of shift rod that goes into lower unit. Cannot get lower unit into neutral seems to be stuck in fwd.
 
Got it done. Was never sure how much leverage it took to push cam rod down but manage to get it into neutral. Forward, neutral, and reverse work fine.
Impeller came as a kit. Thanks for the help.
