I recently bought and installed this motor on my boat. The engine starts and idles fine, but when I place the motor in gear it dies. To install the motor, I removed the throttle and shift cables from the engine. Is there an adjustment on these cables that I need to do because I removed them (link and sync) I just received the service manual today. Any hints or tips on how to trouble shoot would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
