no spark on 2&6 (starboard side top & bottom cyl.). replaced both switch boxs. Stator? how to test? Have muti meter & dva adaptor. Just as a note upper regulator/rectifier yellow wires at bullet connectors was melted. No problem with battery voltage when running. Any help would be great, Thanks Andy D.
 
Pull the plugs, ground the plug wires, and crank it over. Measure the DVA amps (DC) on the red and blue wires coming from the stator, then report back. (You do not have to remove the red and blue wires.)

Thanks to all, Did stator,trigger,DVAsand all in specs. Come to find out i was sold a used switch box NOT NEW. Put in both switch box, now all dva correct all the way thru to the plugs. Will put her under a load tommorrow. Hope all are safe, happy 4th. Thanks Again, Andy D.
