Merc 115 Stops and Restarts Itself

I've got a 2019 Mercury 115 FourStroke with about 20 hours on it now. For some reason anytime I leave it in neutral for more than a 30 seconds it will give six long beeps and then the engine dies. Sometimes I have to restart it, but other times if I shift into gear the motor will just restart itself without me touching the keys. This is very alarming considering that the motor can turn itself on and, is able to do so even if it's in gear at the time. Anyone have any ideas what the problem may be? I'm assuming I'll need to pull it and take it back to the dealer but thought I'd check here first.

Check your owners manual, it might be a "feature" rather than a "fault". Since it restarts it would not surprise me.

A poster on another forum said that on his the six beeps went along with an overheat situation since yours is at idle that could be the case but the restart by itself I don't know about. As racerone said it looks like a trip to the dealer is in order.
