Charging system problem

I have a 115 HP 2 stroke outboard Merc.

Problem: Battery not charging when running.

What I have done:
Replaced the rectifier

Can I check the status of the stator when it is still installed?

I pulled the connection to the stator and checked the connections with these results.

Blue: 7.47
Red: 116.3
Yellow: 1.0

I think it could be the red coils that seems high, blue seems low, yellow looks ok. But is that because I did not remove it from the flywheel?

Just a FYI,

I checked these as follows.

Blue to Blue
Red to Red
Yellow to yellow

You need to only check yellows as they are for battery charging..the other are for ignition system..

Ok thank you, So the yellows seems to be good then, Any ideas on why its not charging, rectifier has been replaced already

You should see at least 14 volts AC on both yellow wires. If not, the stator needs replacement.

I pulled the 2 yellows and with it running it said 26V AC

goes up to like 64V AC at 1500 RPM

Which rectifier you have the square 3 pole or square 5 wire rect/reg????
