Volvo Penta 430B Cooling issues

I have a 92 Monterey that is overheating. I just changed the impeller and thermostat but that didn’t fix the the problem. I think it is not getting any raw water into the cooling system. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should look at next to solve this problem?
 
I'd start by checking for blockage / debris in the pick up on the outboard inlet. Not sure of your stern drive set up, but if your not getting water in that a problem.
 
Ubskiing2, rather than hijacking an existing thread, you’ll do better if you start your own new thread.
