Hey all,
I recently purchased my first aluminum hull boat, a crestliner phantom 175, and for the first time will be keeping it in the water at a marina. My other boats have been fiberglass and always on a trailer or stored in a hoist. I've been doing some reading about anodes, and was wondering if the anodes on the outboard are enough to protect the outboard and hull? Should I add anodes to the hull on a boat this size? This is freshwater, upper Niagara river, but I've been reading a lot, maybe too much, about stray electrical currents and that in marinas.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
