so I developed a hard start issue cold, pulled carbs down to get things out and turns out the choke butterfly’s on the springs snapped off. Luckily I got them out and didn’t damage anything.
So question is, is familiar I have a 86 prov 150. Carbs are 6j900 on there now. Choke butterfly’s broke off. I found a good deal on a set of carbs that are 6g405. With mine being a prov will these carbs work? Should I just buy the carbs and swap the choke butterfly’s since they seem the same. The carbs look identical to what I have now. I was debating on pulling mine current ones apart since I just rebuilt them and putting my new stuff in the 6G405 carbs if they would work as they should. Thanks. Sorry for the back to back post.
