OK... As I "become more experienced" , I am trying to work "more efficiently" ... 
What do you guys (and gals) do to keep the barnacles and "sea growth" from fouling up the operation of the retaining pawl mechanism and working smoothly... without ending up with a bunch of antifouling paint and dead growth that requires a complete disassembly of the pawl mechanism to clean off every couple of seasons???
What brand of anti fouling are you using on these drives?
Also.... for the first time (!!!!???) I noticed what looks like a spring loaded plunger in the intermediate drive housing itself that looks like it "returns" the locking yoke??? Does not appear to be on any drawing.
And a HAPPY FATHERS DAY to you physical and spiritual fathers...
