I have a 1957 Hiawatha 3.6 HP that I picked up as a project. The tank was bone dry, and it still turns over, but can't get any spark! I removed and cleaned the points, they were pretty gunky. I still can't get it to show any spark. How do I test coil and condenser? And/or how do I know what coil or condenser I need? I know Elgin and Scot Atwaters are set up very similar based on photos, but I want to know the part is right before I buy anything. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?
