86 Mercury 115 Shock!!

I have 1986 merc 115hp inline 6 0a975284. When throttle control is moved it will sometimes give you a shock that travels up your arm. This engine also lost power and idled home, then quit and wouldn't start. Back at home it has blue spark on all but #6. Could this be a shorting trigger??

Thanks Guys, To update, found dead #6 coil (cracked). Boat has separate Morse control with trim switch and start/ign key switch on dash.
Just wondering if voltage from trigger is following the control cable to the control??
