90 hp efi high pressure fuel issues stumping me

Engine will fire when spraying starting fluid into air intake

There’s fuel in the vst and the low pressure fuel pump runs when I turn the key.

The fuel only trickles out the s header valve for the high pressure release

Took the high pressure pump out, connected 12v to it and it didn’t run. Bought a new high pressure fuel pump (non oem) and installed it. Replaced the seal on it as well.

Engine still won’t start. I searched threads on here before posting and see something about a regulator that goes back to the vst. Where is it and how can I check it?

any other ideas?

sounds like it does.

I had an issue with my pumps bought aftermarket and they died after 4 times out I’d say the high pressure pump has an issue I had a problem with the regulator too and it just made it have 90psi of fuel pressure if look into that high pressure pump
