1. Is there a way to determine approximate production year from its' serial number, which is BEBE-1000935 ?

2. Is this engine serial number within in the range of those which had block cracking problems?

Thanks in advance for any help.
 
I don't know how much truth there is to it, but I heard that on a block that old, if it hasn't cracked already, it's not very likely it's going to. Don't know that for a fact, just scuttlebutt.
