Hoping one of you guys can help. Recently purchased a boat that came with a 150 Honda 4 stroke engine. On the sea trial everything ran great. Next day took it out to the sand bar and when the engine was raised oil started leaking out. Checked the level which was a little low. Added half a quart and it ran fine. On the way back in it started beeping without any lights on. Shut it off and checked the oil and it was at the same level. Started up and ran fine back to the dock. When cleaning the boat I lifted the engine again and more oil cane from what looks like the front. Started digging a little and found some oil in the air intake tube. Hopefully not a catastrophic issue. No smoke or burnt oil smell coming from the engine. Only has 300 hours. Recent oil change done but the filter is not leaking.
