Need carb part. ??

I have a 1982 mercury 70hp outboard ser number 6104626

I need the plug main jet item number 15 on the parts list on this site, says not sold separate.

Anybody know how to get it.

Found out that it is just about impossible to find this part, It is no longer made.

Could by used carb but why do that if I can make this one work.

It is called a (Plug) (Main jet) If I read that right it is just a plug that holds the jet.

So I installed the small broken peace that holds the jet back into the carb fuel bowl and taped the hole in the bowl to a 1/8" pipe thread and installed a brass pipe thread plug.


Worked like a charm. Just thought I would post this encase someone else had the same problem
