Mercury 115 HP Pro XS fuel system

I've got a 2016 Merc 115HP Pro XS with fuel issue, wondering if anyone has any thoughts. Ran fine at the start of the season and suddenly quit after an hour of use. Checked it out and the 20A fuse marked 'fuel' had blown. Replaced the fuse and worked fine for a while then quit again, same blown fuse. Replaced the fuel filter, which was full of gunk. It continues to blow the same fuse, but now it's instantaneous and the fuse burns as if it were a dead short. Thinking it might be a bad/gunked up fuel pump. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

You have a short circuit in your wiring somewhere thats causing the fuse to blow constantly. Worth checking all wires.

Fuel pump is locked up....

Checked the wiring and no shorts could be found.
