Hi,
Just getting my boat going after getting out of storage. I just changed belt, impeller, idler pulley and cleaned filter in fuel rail following recommendation I got on form. I also generally cleaned the bilge and around the engine block but am pretty positive I have not unplugged anything.
When I turn on the isolation switch I hear a small buzz for a few seconds which has always happened then I crack and no start. After a couple of cranks the dash gauges drop and if I turn the key there is no noise at all (the fan, bulge etc. is able to run). If I turn off the isolation switch for a few seconds and back on it cranks well but no start and then after 2 or 3 cranks the gauges drop and no noise when turning key.
I am not sure if the electrical issue and the no start are linked (possibly not) anyone have any ideas what is going on?
As I removed the filter from the fuel rail I am wondering if I have an airlock in the fuel system, is there a way to prime this or test the fuel pump is working?
