2010 60 HP Honda Outboard not peeing. Even after new water pump

The motor stopped peeing last week so I bought a new pump kit from Honda. I hooked up the hose to the hose adapter at the top of the motor and flushed it before reinstalling the lower unit. I set the boat in the water and it was peeing poorly. I took it for a ride up the canal and it stopped peeing completely. I don't know what to check next. everything was put together correctly. I had the diagram right in front of me and double checked everything. When I hook up the hose from the adapter, water does come out of the pee hole and also out of the lower unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are using a hose, you need to duck tape the intake on the underside of the cavitation plate above the propeller. It is best to just use a trash can.

Your local is FL and you said canal, so I assume this is saltwater. I would suspect your thermostat or the water inlet cover ports are clogged with salt deposits.

Yes, it is salt water. How would I clear something like out?

Run the motor on a flushing attachment and blow back through the pee hole using a compressor, simple

BF60 doesn't have the secondary pick up under the cav plate like the 30,40 and 50
