I have a question regarding the VRO fuel pump. I am not using it with the oil pump, I am premixing my fuel.

My question is what would happen if I did not have the oil inlet connector clamped shut? And also should I not have it plugged in to power?

I am purposefully leaving out what problems I am having with the motor, just wanted to see if my assumption is correct.

The VRO is driven by pressure pulses , mostly by positive pressure pulses.------The VRO is not an electric pump.-----The wires are only for a " no oil " warning circuit.---Yes the oil inlet to pump should be plugged.

So would you say that this port not being plugged would cause my engine to sputter and almost shut off when going fast? I can go fast for about 15 seconds and then it bogs and sputters. I pull the throttle back to neutral and it runs fine.

A simple test would be to have your assistant operate the manual fuel pump to see if motor will keep running properly.
