Merc 20 hp switch box testing

IF that's a Phase Maker, the kill witch works assbackwards--you open the circuit to shut her down (so it must be there and grounded for it to work).

Phase Maker setups have two coils in the back but NO visible switch box.

What kind of troubles you have with your engine? I have 20hp, 1977 also with electric ignition. I have 2 stop buttons, one on engine and another in remote control, on/off type switch.
 
Not understanding the test process it is a pull start no key or battery to check voltage when testing do I just pull dva is ordered
