Resetting check engine light 2008 BF90D

I cleaned the water separator after an alarm and need to reset the indicator on my side mount control panel. I can't find the rest instructions in any manuals. Thanks to anyone who can help with this.
 
I think all Honda outboards are the same - with key switch on and the shunt on the service connector in place, disengage the kill switch yoke and activate the kill switch button 5 times within 20 seconds. You should hear a beep (or two) if successful.
