Merc 2.5XRI DOES NOT DIE AS KEY IS TURNED OFF

Can someone tell me what color the key kill wire is, and where on the engine is it located? Engine not kill, wants to run a few seconds...
Rats chewed wires, I have replaced and repaired all I see. I have a blk white stripe and blk w yellow stripe and two yellow with red stripe don’t know where they go?

Know nothing about these engines,but I can tell you the kill circuit is the black/yellow stripe wire right up to the key,sounds like it has broken somewhere along the line

Thank you sir. I will test continuity on that circuit. It’s almost like it’s kill one ignition pack, and not the other.
